The retrospect of Sound Development City 2013 has been released as a collection of ten booklets in a slipcase. The nine art projects are represented in an own booklet each, while the tenth booklet shows the general framework of the expedition, based on the expedition logbook. Selected images, logbook entries and excerpts from the Radio Bus interviews make the working process and the progress of the expedition in Lisboa and Marseille tangible.

As in the previous year, the publication was designed by Hubertus Design; it is now available in our webshop for CHF 29.-. The single booklets are available as free PDF download on the Sound Development City Logbook website.

Recording Festival at Sound Development

The Berne musician clique around Oli Hartung, Eric Facon and Beda Senn are once more guests at our studio from 10th to 18th January. A delightful visit, indeed – and it brings back good memories of the production «Es Dach über em Chopf». Similarly, several well-established protagonists of Switzerland’s music scene are now coming together for a common cause: the project «ISNT NITS» is a homage to the Dutch cult band Nits, lined up on the occasion of their 40th anniversary. It includes the production of an album with songs by Nits, reinterpreted by Swiss musicians like Büne Huber, Heidi Happy, The Weyers and many others.

We wish a successful recording and are excited about the final result.

Wolfman @ Music Apartment

Good news! The showcase series Music Apartment continues on 4th February 2014 (7 pm) with Wolfman – an intriguing act out of Zurich’s buzzing music scene. The live stream of their performance will be broadcasted live on the project website, here on our blog and on the websites of the project’s streaming partners. Stay tuned for more information.
